Self-hosted network & asset management

Your network, your data, your infrastructure.

PezNet is a self-hosted platform for documenting, monitoring and managing IT infrastructure: assets, racks, cabling, IPs, VLANs, routing and live health in one place. Install it on your own hardware and pay one simple per-server price. No tier gates, no surprises.

What you get

One licence. All features.

Every feature is in every install. Nothing is held back for a higher plan, and nothing is metered by the size of your network.

Asset lifecycle

Full ITAM: custom fields, check-in and check-out, loan periods, audits, photos, warranty and procurement tracking, and a guided retire wizard with data-destruction sign-off.

Discovery that proposes

Ping sweep, port scan, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH and controller APIs stage what they find as proposed devices, IPs, VLANs and L2 links, and a human accepts them into inventory. Nothing is assumed.

DCIM & cabling

Sites, buildings, floors, rooms and drag-and-drop rack elevations. Physical cables, patch panels and cable paths, with ports projected from each asset's catalogue model.

IPAM & routing

Prefixes, IPs, VLANs, VRFs, DHCP scopes and DNS zones, with each address recording where it came from and why it counts as in use. BGP, OSPF, static routes, circuits and providers.

Monitoring & dashboards

Apply monitor templates by category, poll metrics against a 179-entry SNMP OID catalogue, alert by email, SMS or IM, and build dashboards from 27 widget types bound to live data.

Label printing

Visual template builder with QR deep-links back to the asset, rendered server-side and sent straight to networked printers: Brother QL raster and ZPL over TCP/9100.

No tier gates

The enterprise bits aren't an upsell.

The things other vendors reserve for their top plan ship in every PezNet install, on day one.

SSO & provisioning
Multi-connection OIDC and SAML 2.0 with a setup wizard, IdP group mapping, SCIM 2.0 inbound sync and break-glass access.
Credential vault
Encrypted at rest, with a second authentication step before a secret is revealed. Discovery draws its credentials from here.
Audit with undo
Every change recorded against the person or system that made it, in readable before and after values, with one-click reversal.
Updates that roll back
One-click in-app updates: pre-flight checks, binary and database snapshot, apply, restart, and automatic rollback on failure.
Good practice by default
Least-privilege roles, a full audit trail and sign-off on data destruction are how the product works, not options to turn on.
Multi-tenant isolation
One company's records cannot be reached from another, enforced in several independent layers rather than trusted to one.
Standards

Built to help you pass your own audit.

Most teams do not fail an audit for want of effort. They fail because the evidence was never captured. PezNet records who holds what, what changed, who reached it and how it was disposed of, as a side effect of ordinary work, so the answers already exist when someone asks for them.

We map what the product does to the controls in the Australian Privacy Principles, the Essential Eight, ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and SOC 2, and we publish where we stand against each, including the parts we have only assessed ourselves.

Integrations

Works with what you already run.

PezNet is the record of your infrastructure, not a walled garden. Where another system already holds part of the picture, PezNet talks to it.

Snipe-IT

Two-way asset sync with a mapping queue that pairs their categories, models, statuses and people to yours. Every write is confirmed to have landed before it is marked done.

UniFi

Discovery reads your controller directly, so managed devices, their addresses and the links between them arrive as proposals rather than as another spreadsheet to reconcile.

1Password Connect

Keep credentials where your team already keeps them. The vault can defer to 1Password Connect as its backend, and discovery draws on it the same way.

How it works

From sign-up to licensed in five minutes.

Register

Create a portal account here. No card up front. The 14-day trial activates the moment your primary phones home.

Install your primary

One script on Linux or Windows installs everything it needs, sets up the database and services, then registers itself and receives a signed trial token.

Pair secondaries

Add as many secondaries as your network needs. They authenticate through your primary and are included at no extra cost.
